Raju World Horse Welfare Sculpture

I was asked by World Horse Welfare to paint a sculpture, the original designed by Judy Boyt, to be displayed in a trail of horses, each representing a World Horse Welfare issue or story. I was asked to paint a very famous horse!

I painted my sculpture in the style of Nick Skelton's showjumping horse Big Star, and also painted two portraits of Nick Skelton and Big Star jumping for Gold medals at the London 2012 Olympic Games and at Rio 2016 Olympic Games.

The Sculpture was part of the 'Show Trail' of sculptures and was exhibited at the Royal Windsor Horse Show 2019.
